Avatar The Last Airbender landed on Rotten Tomatoes with the critics score of 60%. It is not a decent score but it still is better when we takes a look at other latest projects from Hollywood of recent times. However, we should remember that the original animated series were managing to secure the critics score of 100%. Other big factor which is impacting the future of this adaptation is audience satisfaction.
Netflix is receiving a mixed reaction and to be honest, I know that they were not expecting it at all. The audience score is somewhere around 75% which seems pretty good- but it is not enough for the standards of Netflix. Again, the animated version was securing the score of 98% which is enough to say a lot about it’s dominance right?

I personally enjoyed this show but the facts like weird VFX, lame dialogues and useless conversations were making a huge impact on it’s original theme. We knows that season 2 may deal with the plotline of “Book 2” of this story. This part mostly focuses on Aang who tries die hard to learn the tactics of earth-bending. It makes him to go back to the Earth Kingdom where he gets kidnapped by Zuko. However, he manages to find out a way in order to take down Fire Lord Ozai.
Talking about Troph then she is among the most iconic characters of this saga. She is also a very powerful earthbender who joins this gang during part 2. Troph is the one who teaches Aang about the strong capabilities of earthbending powers which later becomes an important part of Aang’s life.
New character means new faces in the cast- however, I don’t have any name who may join this cast. Reason is quiet simple, the second season is still waiting to get a greenlight from Netflix right? So we have to wait and see!
Netflix typically takes couple of months before making final decision on it’s shows. They gives a proper time to the projects for finding the right audience, so it is also possible that they are in a state of ‘wait-and-watch’.
