Variety reported, Netflix is acquiring “Calabasas,” a show which is set to executively produced by Kim Kardashian & Emma Roberts. Both actresses has worked together on “American Horror Story: Delicate Parts 1 and 2.” The show was a massive hit on streaming platforms and now is the time to reunite our beauties once again.

What Is The Plot Of Netflix’s Calabasas?
First and foremost, what to expect from this show? Is this a comedy? A Rom-Com? Action or horror? These questions are very normal and luckily, we’ve got an official theme synopsis which will be taking place in this project.
If you don’t know then let me tell you that Netflix’s Calabasas is a direct adaptation from “If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous by Now,” a book which was published back in 2021 by Via Bleidner. The book follows a story of a 16-year-old sheltered Catholic school girl who’s thrown into unfamiliar territory when she transfers to Calabasas High. So you can expect same theme with some minor changes in this project as well. Additionally, the story-writing is under development, so expect more updates in the near future.
When To Expect Calabasas?
Alright, here comes the real question: What is the release date of Netflix’s Calabasas? This question is a bit too tricky to deal with at this point of time. The news about this show is just broke, and the script writing is not finished yet as well. Hence, it is clear that filming won’t began for next couple of months as well. Keeping this factors in mind, you should expect any sort of information regarding streaming dates by late 2024 at the earliest.
Calabasas Cast: Who Is Set To Appear?
Like I’ve mentioned above, Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts are set to produce Calabasas, but they are not the only one of course. Joining this duo is Marlene King, the creator of popular “Pretty Little Liars.” Additional executive producers include Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski for Belletrist Productions and Alexandra Milchan under her Crescentline banner.
Additionally, I’d love to mention that Deadline has recently reported that King will also write this project, along with producing it. Her projects are known for dominating over streaming platforms and if she is joining this project then no wonder if it hits the top of trending bars. Apart from this, no other casting news is out yet, but I will be keeping my eye on it.
