While the directors and producers themselves are revealing many things, you might be wondering about the face who will be filling the shoe of our Jack Sparrow.

Things went wild when Amber Heard took internet on storm by taking her relationship with Johnny into courts. While everything was under process, Disney made a huge mistake by firing Johnny and hence – pushing this franchise into the sea of uncertainties.

Now that Johnny has officially won the case and things are returning back on track, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced each of the five Pirates movies that starred Johnny Depp as his iconic pirate character Captain Jack Sparrow, in a recent interview with ComicBook.com said the next installment of Pirates of the Caribbean will be a reboot instead of being a straight sequel, People reported. He said:

“But we’re gonna reboot Pirates, so that is easier to put together because you don’t have to wait for certain actors,”

It brings in a big question: “Will Johnny Depp return as Jack Sparrow?” If not, then who is going to fill his shoes? Well, neither Johnny or any of his agency, nor the Disney company itself has spoken a single word on this query. However, some previous reports were promoting the name of Ayo Edebiri to lead the Pirates Of The Caribbean Reboot. But again, is this true?

Is Ayo Edibiri Replacing Johnny Depp in Pirates Of The Caribbean Reboot?

As per Yahoo Entertainment and their sources, Ayo Edibiri is officially considered for a Pirates Of The Caribbean spin-off but it isn’t same movie as Margot Robbie’s, and it isn’t Pirates Of The Caribbean Reboot either.

The original source of this update and report is Daniel Richtman who is very well known for his precision and accuracy when it comes to Hollywood updates. It was previously reported that POTC 6 will feature Margot Robbie in lead, but this is also under uncertain conditions and we have to wait a bit more to hear official words.

As of now, neither Ayo nor Johnny has joined the cast of this newly announced Pirates Of The Caribbean Reboot. Hollywood, and especially Disney and company is currently going through a variety of changes in both it’s upcoming projects and staff.
