Bridgerton season 4 is officially happening, and we all knew about it ever since the announcement of the third part. One big question that usually pops-up in our minds are the names of our next soulmates. While Bridgerton season 3 is almost down the line — the Netflix company is heavily involved in developing the future episodes of this classic saga.
The story follows a wealthy family from 19th century London as they search for love. The story is taken straight from the book series written by Julia Quinn, who is also very well known for publishing some of the best sagas. Season 1 has delivered us a sweet couple of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), where the journey was revolving around the first book “Duke and I.” Meanwhile the second season was delivering us another love story of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
Now a third season is expected to bring us another mythology-themed love-story from the Bridgerton family and I just can’t wait to watch them. However, what’s next for this universe? Do we know anything about our future love-birds? Well, here are some of the most latest, exciting and loving updates about Bridgerton season 4!
In This Article:
Which Couple Will Lead Bridgerton Season 4?
The very first thing that might land in your curious minds is a name, Benedict, who is yet to find his love. Even fans like you and I can do nothing but hope for him to get one during the events of the third season — however, things might take a different route in Bridgerton season 4.
Played by Luke Thompson, Benedict’s love-story is more like a ‘needle in the bush‘ until we gets the final episode from season three. If, by any chance, the show manages to skip his arc of love once again then I’d say that you should expect the romance of Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Sir Phillip Crane (Chris Fulton). But hold on — showrunner Jess Brownell has exclusively revealed some latest updates about the couple of Bridgerton season 4.
While talking to TVInsider, Jesse has revealed that fans will be getting a clear picture for our next couple by the end of seaosn three. She teases, “I won’t give you anything, but I do think that there are some clues at the end of Season 3 of where we’re headed. So yeah, I leave that to fans to pick apart, but I think we’re tipping our hand just a little bit,” she promised.“
So on the basis of her comment, I can say that we might get some sort of cliffhangers that will later guide us in Bridgerton season 4. Well, we don’t have to wait any longer since the first part of third season will be premiering on May 16, 2024 — followed by it’s second part which will drop on Netflix on June 13.
When Would Bridgerton Season 4 Premiere?
Just like couples, this question is again a bit catchy one to answer — however, I do have a pretty good idea about it. The Netflix company has already confirmed that Bridgerton season 4 will start it’s filming soon. More importantly, let me tell you that the the fourth part has already started it’s production from April 2024, so it’s just a matter of time before we gets more cool updates.
When asked from Brownell about the same, she said, “We’re still making sure that we write the best possible script that we can before we start production. But we’re really thrilled with what we’ve been working on. So hold out hope!”

Will Bridgerton Season 4 “Shake-Up” The Original Book?
This is going to be a very interesting take you know? I mean see, the Bridgerton series is following a very decent plotline which has been taken straight from the book. While the third part is also expected to repeat the same criteria, Bridgerton season 4 might deliver something “crazy!” However, you still can expect the same genre and style of narration without a doubt.
According to showrunner, Bridgerton season 4 will indeed bring something new — but will never “shake” things that much. Brownell mentioned, “I am really not trying to shake things up too much. I really believe in the vision of the show.”
Despite this, she is not really neglecting the idea of departure from the books as she continued, “I really want to serve the stories and the books the best way possible. It just naturally felt like, for Penelope and Colin, it made sense to lean into a romantic comedy tropes. So this season does have a bit more humor in it and it has the awkward banter. So that’s something that will feel slightly elevated in terms of being different from last season.“
So long story short, the Bridgerton saga has a lot to offer and I am feeling like we’ve just touched the tip of an ice berg which is full of love and beauty. Bridgerton season 4 will definitely bring a lot of surprises and no wonder if it hits the trending bars during it’s wild run.
