“The Boys Season 5 Will Bring Homelander’s Vision Of Apocalypse,” Says Creator [Exclusive!]

We now knows that The Boys season 5 will officially wrap this brutal saga of Amazon Prime Video, but what if I say that the final installment is going to be a dream come true for… not your Starlight, Hughie or any other character – but for the one and only Homelander! Well, that’s what I’ve learnt via series creator.

Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, has recently revealed in an interview that the fifth and final season will fulfill multiple desires of Homelander. Not only this, fans can expect almost anything or everything that they can think of. In fact, the creator has officially used the word “Apocalypse,” which really matters a lot – especially when we talks about Marvel or The Boys saga.

“The Boys Season 5 Is What Everyone Wants From First Season!”

In his interview, Eric revealed that the fifth season is a perfect representation of what all of us was expecting to end this saga. After countless blood baths and emotional challenges, the creators are now all set to send these characters on one of their most toughest and challenging task of history. Either they will die, or will somehow manage to catch some breath.

Eric says, “As far as we’re concerned, it’s our show’s version of the apocalypse.” It clearly shows what level of insanity is waiting for all of us in this concluding season.

More importantly, Kripke is also revealing that things are now going to get dominated by Homelander in The Boys season 5. It is not a big surprise if you’ve watched the finale of fourth season. Evil supes are now united under the tag of Homelander and he is now going to control the United States of America since the President has announced the martial law in the country.

Meanwhile our other main characters are either locked up, or managed to escape that includes only Starlight – of course the deadly Butcher is also free but I don’t have high expectations from him. Kripke continued, “Homelander gets everything he has wanted from the beginning, which is to completely remake the United States in his image, and according to his whims. The boys are at their lowest point, most of them are captured, and we worry for their future.”

In conclusion, he continued, “I always look at it as of the five seasons, we’re kind of at that point, that’s sort of the end of the second act of a movie where everyone’s really at their low point, and they’ve all faced their own personal demons. Now, they need to really come together in the fifth season and save the world.”

The Boys season 5 is now under development and you can expect it to release somewhere by mid 2026 at the earliest. You can stream all the previous seasons on Amazon Prime Video.
