The talented actress was recently hitting the trending bars after revealing how an official team member was shouting at her during the production of one of her projects.
Silo is not a new concept. This story is available to us for over decades now, and it has garnered a huge popularity and praise worldwide. Set in a Sci-Fi world, Silo season 1 follows the challenges faced by our main protagonists during tough times and technical environment. I’ve seen a trend in recent years. A trend which is bringing us back to back shows based upon futuristic world and galactic travels. While Marvel serves us with it’s while dedicated cinematic universe, Apple TV+ is the one which easily wipes out when it comes to the Live-Action novel adaptation.
Well, what Rebecca is revealing will definitely excite you. No wonder if you starts craving for more. So no need to lurk around and let’s know everything about Silo season 3.

Silo Season 3 And 4: Latest Updates!
Rebecca Ferguson has recently given an interview to Collider, where the actress can be seen talking about the future of this Silo universe. It should be noted that the first season was released on Apple TV+ back in mid-2023. The show was well received by both the critics and the viewers. It was the popularity and massive success of first season that made the company to renew this saga for more. Now according to Rebecca, Silo season 3 will happened and not only this, the show will also come up with another follow up season.
While speaking with Collider, she has revealed that Silo universe will officially conclude its story after fourth season. The show indeed is waiting to get a greenlight from Apple TV+, but it is just a matter of time before it gets one. Rebecca said, “I believe that the show has an ending, and I know when that is. So that’s the answer. You will find out when the show is done. To be honest, I don’t think it’s a secret. The books are the books. It’s three books, and the three books are divided into four seasons.”
She continues, “So I believe, unless any Apple person is gonna jump on, I think we’re absolutely fine with saying Season 1, we’ve done. Season 2 is shot and coming out, and we’re now looking at green-lighting Seasons 3 and 4. And I think we would film them maybe together, and that would be the end.“
This update becomes even more important when we takes a look at the timeline of Silo. The second season went into production by late 2023 and has recently wrapped up its filming in March 2024. While the solid release window is yet to be announced, I’d say that you can expect it to premiere by later this year. Now if Rebecca is sure about the current status of Apple TV+, then Silo season 3 and 4 can go under cameras by late 2024 itself, hence — giving a solid chance to premiere itself by mid-2025.
What Will Happen In Silo Season 2?
While the plot of Silo season 3 entirely depends upon the ending of second season, it is important to keep an eagle eye on future episodes. The show is based on books, so we do have s good source material for predicting about future events. The second book of this saga is “Shift,” but it is in fact a prequel of it’s previous installment. The first season has already delivered us multiple changes from the original storyline, so the chances are high that Silo season 2 will most probably not follow the prequel events.
By the end of first season, we got a cliffhanger when Juliette steps outside only to live. Now we are left with two big questions, “what really happens when characters leave the Silo,” and “how much does Judicial actually know about the world?“
On the basis of my very own knowledge, I’d say that in Silo season 2, Juliette may have to venture out into the world. Now if she goes out then it simply means that second season will introduce new characters, locations, and plot lines outside the original theme as well.
What Is Silo Season 1 About?
Like I mentioned above, Silo saga is based entirely upon the trilogy of novels created by author Hugh Howey. The name of all three books are — Wool, Shift, and Dust. The first season is set in a dystopian future where a community exists in a giant underground silo comprising 144 levels. With a perfect and well structured plotline, season 1 has delivered us a total of 10 episodes thay were premiering between May 5, 2023 to June 30, 2023.
It is not just the plot, but the casting of this show is truly phenomenal. That’s the main reason why I am way too excited for Silo season 3, 4 or maybe more. It includes Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette Nichols, who is an engineer that plays a vital role in this universe. Joining her is Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, Rick Gomez, and Chinaza Uche.
While we might have to wait a but more to hear some other hints about Silo season 3, these updates are enough to build a hype among us, the audience who will be dedicating our time — getting lost in this magical and beautiful fictional world. I will be updating this article as soon as I gets any other news.
