Peacemaker season 2 is currently under development and finally we are getting some very exclusive images straight from their sets – and these are surprising!

The filming for Peacemaker season 2 begun in April 2024, but we were waiting to get a glimpse from the sets. Now that it has reached at a point where they are preparing themselves to wrap everything up, some exclusive images are trending everywhere – revealing a look at the potential costume of our John Cena led character.

Just in case if you don’t know then let me tell you that Peacemaker season 2 is taking place in James Gunn’s new DC universe – so no wonder if some characters gets some sort of look (or say new makeovers). This time, it’s our Peacemaker!

John Cena Will Hit Hard With This Costume In Peacemaker Season 2!

While the set photos are not directly revealing the actor wearing the new costume, we can spot his painting on the wall. It reveals a new pattern of lining and color shading over the original one, which also marks a new era for our deadly yet friendly DC character.

It should be noted that the drawing is not showing any major changes in the helmet of Peacemaker, although some small changes in designs might take place. Meanwhile the logo is looking pretty decent like always – but this time, it is glowing more since the color theme is looking a bit darker and dense.

I’d also love to bring some lights on his gloves. Though the color is black (or some similar shade), it is giving the vibes of a soldier or a secret agent. Maybe it will help him in maintaining a good grip on the necks of his enemies right? Well, things will get more clear when we will get a chance to watch our wrestling champ in that particular costume.

While the new costume is now trending on social media, there’s one more thing which is getting a lot of love from the fans worldwide. Yes, I am talking about our John Cena. The actor has taken some time out during his busy shooting schedule for second season, just to meet his fans who spends hours waiting in the line to catch a glimpse of their favorite actor.

In pics, we can spot a cute little boy, holding a wrestling belt and posing with Cena. While in another one, he can be spotted with a girl, holding a cute, tiny and newly born baby. Well, there’s a reason why we loves him so much right?

What Is Peacemaker Season 2 Release Date?

While the show is now under development, many people are looking around to know more about the release dates. So what’s the big question? Of course, the release schedule.

Just in case if you don’t know then it has been officially announced that the events of Peacemaker season 2 are taking place in new DC universe, which is introduced by none other then our James Gunn. It has been confirmed that most of the events are going to take place after the upcoming Superman: Legacy movie – which is set to premiere in July 2025. So long story short, Peacemaker season 2 will release somewhere after July or August 2025 without a doubt.

Is James Gunn Writing Peacemaker Season 2?

Now we all knows that James Gunn himself is the DC Boss who is managing everything in his newly introduced DC universe. Although his number of tasks are increasing with every new day, Gunn has confirmed that he will be directing and writing three episodes in Peacemaker season 2. His works includes Guardian of the Galaxy saga, coupled up with the upcoming Superman: Legacy movie and more.
