House Of The Dragon Season 3 Star Drops A Very Disappointing Update

House of the Dragon season 3 will take us a step closer to the conclusion. By now, I’m guessing that most of us already know about fourth installment, right? Well, before that, season 3 is getting some serious (or say, disappointing) updates.

While NYCC (New York Comic Con) is at it’s peak, House of the Dragon season 3 was supposed to get some solid details. Of course, it indeed is getting some, but those are not what you were expecting!

Matt Smith, the actor who will continue playing the role of our iconic Daemon Targaryen, took stage on fire with his other co-stars Fabian Frankel (Criston Cole) and Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon II Targaryen). Together, they picked handful of very important questions one of which is kinda related to the release date itself.

House Of The Dragon Season 3 Status Is Still “Unknown!”

While talking to various Hollywood media outlets and individuals, the stars have shared their own knowledge and point of views for third Season. It should be noted that none of them is able to share anything common — however, the words of Glynn are enough to speak a lot.

“Not a jot, not a letter,” Glynn-Carney replied on asking if any of them had seen a script for the upcoming third season. “The longer they take, the longer we don’t have to read anything for a while,” he continued.

While season 3 might be under works, I’d love to add that the four installment is also under plans of getting into production all together. So it might be playing a key role in this possible conflicts or delays in script writing process. However, one of them have heard ‘something’ which can’t be shared (atleast for now!)

While speaking, Matt Smith confirms that he is in the same position as that of Glynn-Carney, and that’s he’s not heard a word about anything as of now. But Frankel takes control and reveals that he knows something that others don’t.

“I’ve heard some things that I couldn’t possibly share here,” Frankel teased while joining the conversation.

To add a twist, I’d just love to bring the “Game of Thrones” creator and author George R.R. Martin here. On September 4, he shared a post (which is now deleted) expressing his concerns for the future plotlines of this saga while also tackling the issues of season 2 including the elimination of the Prince Maelor.

Though he deleted that post, the latest one says, “And there are larger and more toxic butterflies to come, if HOUSE OF THE DRAGON goes ahead with some of the changes being contemplated for seasons 3 and 4…”

Last but at no means the least, an HBO spokesperson has also released his statement where he can be seen expressing the love for Martin, while taking and showing the positive sides of this whole show [including season 3]. We can also take his words as an official take, and that’s what increases the weight of these lines.

“There are few greater fans of George R.R. Martin and his book ‘Fire & Blood’ than the creative team on ‘House of the Dragon,’ both in production and at HBO,” spokesperson said. “We believe that Ryan Condal and his team have done an extraordinary job and the millions of fans the series has amassed over the first two seasons will continue to enjoy it,” he continued.

Well, House of the Dragon Season 3 is now under works and while these latest words of actor Matt might disappoint many fans, let me assure you that Amazon Prime knows how to cook. If they are taking time, then it’s definitely for the greater good. So, let them cook!
