Bridgerton season 4 is currently under works at Netflix, and we are already feeling the hype to watch our favorite characters back in action. This is one of the most successful franchise in TV history, so no wonder why we, the fans, just can’t hold ourselves right?
Bridgerton season 3 has just ended and talks are on for future plots. Who will die? Are we getting more ‘love-birds?’ What are the chances of one final conclusion? I know you have so many questions in your mind. Well, I am just like you. I was re-watching the third season last night when I found some ‘in-plot’ type of cliffhangers.
So what is the work of a theorist? Here I am sharing my top 3 predictions for Bridgerton season 4 that makes the future episodes even more exciting and fun to watch. Believe me, after reading this article, you will have a good idea about the faiths of these characters. So let’s get into it!
Bridgerton Season 4: My Top 3 Predictions
3) Eloise Can Finally Find A Love
Eloise is easily among the main characters from third season. In fact, I should say that she is also a leading character ever since the beginning. Now if you’ve not read the book then worry not, I’ve read them.
In fifth book of of Julia Quinn’s series, Eloise takes the step and finally gives romance, or say the love, a chance. By the end of third season, we can see how the love story of our dear Penelope is taking a consistent turn by slowly moving towards a loving conclusion.
As per the story, when Penelope and Colin’s story comes to an end, Eloise realizes that her chemistry and time with Penelope won’t remain spinsters together like she’d planned. That brings a sharp turn in her life that makes her go to find a love interest and hence, taking her into the romance genre. So I’d suggest you to expect a new love story, however this time, Eloise is going to be the focus point.
2) Cressida Cowper Finds Love
After Eloise, I am also expecting the story of Cresside to conclude with Bridgerton seaosn 4. In third season and as per books, Cressida Cowper marries a man named Lord Twombley, who later dies. It leaved her heartbroken and poor at the same time. Although if you will take a dive into books then you’ll notice how Cowper takes a dark turn, but the TV series is taking a slightly different route.
Luckily in show, Cresside has received a more sympathetic portrayal. That makes her a perfect choice to take more time in upcoming episodes. Now in Bridgerton season 4, if Lady Cowper is really Sophie’s stepmother, then it would simply make Cressida her stepsister.
Chances are high that Netflix won’t make any villainous changes in Cressida, so even if the fourth part focuses more on any other character, the development of Cowper will still be present for a good amount of screen time.
1) Benedict To Finally Lead The Show
Yes! Finally I can say that chances are high for our Benedict. Throughout this saga, it is the first time when I am this sure about his journey, and hints are also pointing at the same.
Bridgerton season 4 can finally showcase the story from the third book to reveal and portray Benedict’s love story. The rumors are also taking a spark because of that one post of Grace Gorman, a Bridgerton wig artist, who posted a photo of Joanna Bobin, who plays Lady Cowper. The noticeable portion is actually the caption.
She mentioned, “Fun fact: Lady Cowper’s first name is Araminta!” Now when I was re-watching the third season again, I noticed the increased amount of screen time of our Lady Cowper. So all these factors are slowly hinting us at the incomplete story of the third book where Benedict and Sophie’s love story takes place that can finally be shown in Bridgerton season 4.
Long story short, this saga and it’s universe is wide. Literally anything can happen, however, these 3 plots are definitely reserving the better chances of happening in future episodes. What are your expectations?
