Yellowstone season 6 is down the line and no wonder if it breaks the trending bars. With some of the most interesting characters coupled up with the fun of classic adventure and thrill, this 5-season long saga is very well received by both the critics and the audience. While we are waiting for more, it is just a matter of time when we will be watching these characters back in action.
The first five seasons of Yellowstone are currently available to stream on Peacock and I was recently giving it a re-watch. With perfect castings, storylines and twists — it would be no surprise if I puts it into my list of personal favorites, and so do you. But what about the future? The show was originally set to conclude it’s story with five seasons but it eventually got some extended episodes which are now getting referred as Yellowstone season 6. Luckily, series star Lainey Wilson has shared some words on the show’s finale – Of course those words are not enough but hey! Something is always better then nothing right?
Lainey Comments on Yellowstone Season 6!
Lainey Wilson has recently attended the iHeartRadio Awards where the actress can be seen discussing about Yellowstone season 6 with Fox News. In her quick and precise take, the star has admitted that she didn’t know what was going on with the series. She can be heard saying that neither her not her beloved co-star Kelly Reilly were informed about the possible filming and production updates:
“I’m still waiting to find out what’s happening with Yellowstone. I have absolutely no clue. I did talk to [series star] Kelly Reilly the other day and, you know, we’ll see what happens. Once they give us the call — we’re there.”
This comment is kinda surprising me because Yellowstone season 6 is originally set to premiere on our streaming platforms by November 2024. If they are still moving here and there like a free atom then it’d be interesting to see exactly when they goes under the cameras.
Who is Lainey Wilson in Yellowstone Saga?
The official synopsis of Yellowstone season 5 reads, “Beth heads to Salt Lake City to take care of unfinished business; a trap is set for Jamie; Kayce makes an important decision for his family. John makes swift changes at the Capitol; later, he receives some advice from Senator Perry; the venom between Jamie and Beth reaches a boiling point.” The whole season was dealing with a very solid plot which perfectly sets up a cliffhanger to conclude everything in Yellowstone season 6.
While this saga has dropped many popular and beloved characters in our hearts, Lainey Wilson led Abby is the one who brings a fresh dynamic and a lot of engagement. Since Wilson is a country music artist in real life, her performance feels genuine. This authenticity adds depth to the series’ portrayal of the American West, its unique way of life, and the struggles faced by its people.
It is the impact of Lainey’s character that brings a fresh perspective to Yellowstone by weaving music into the narrative. Her songs resonate with the show’s core themes of love, loss, and the fight for survival, both in terms of preserving the land and a fading way of life. By including a character with deep roots in country music, the series embraces a more nuanced portrayal of the modern American West, reflecting Taylor Sheridan’s vision.
You can give a quick re-watch to the previous seasons of Yellowstone which are currently available to stream on Peacock. Stick around the corner with TVPrism as we brings you some of the most engaging, original and authentic content related to everything TV. Till then — stay safe, peace out!
