Pixar’s Win Or Lose: New Release Date, Trailer, Total Episodes & Everything

All of us knows that Win or Lose will be the first ever long form TVseries of Pixar animation studios, but we are not lucky enough to watch it anytime soon. Well, the show is getting some very disappointing updates, and I know how YOU are feeling right now.

First announced in 2023, Win or Lose is one of it’s kind type of series which will bring another badge of honour for both Disney & Pixar animation companies. While you and I both knows how many different types of projects Disney keeps dropping on it’s streaming platform, Pixar was the only company that comes under the tag of Disney, and was waiting to hear about it’s own separate show.

Practically speaking then I won’t lie, but Pixar was going to bring it really soon. However, some developments are qctively taking place inside the Walt Disney company — which is also affecting the schedules of other IP’s. Without wasting much time, here’s everything that you are looking for.

Win Or Lose Release Date: Delayed Again!

Yes, Pixar’s Win or Lose is getting delayed once again. I’m guessing that all of you already knows about it’s previous dates, right? Just in case if you don’t know then let me tell you that this show was originally set to release on December 6, this year. Nope, not joking at all! However, there is a shift in it’s entire release window — thanks to Dream Productions, another Disney-Pixar TV series.

Long story short, Pixar’s Win or Lose will now premiere on Disney+ on February 19, 2025 — and that’s when I’ll be celebrating my birthday. Maybe, that’s their way of gifting me a brand new TV series.

The updated date of December is now reserved by Pixar’s Dream Productions, which is a spinoff show from Inside Out universe. It will premiere on December 11, 2024 — and it has a total of four quick episodes (or simply call them shorts!).

How Many Episodes In Pixar’s Win Or Lose?

Now I’m also getting so many questions regarding total number of episodes on my YouTube channel (Movie World Network). In fact, people are also looking around to learn more about the length of each episode respectively. Worry not, I got you!

Well. Win or Lose will officially drop a total of 8-episodes, each having a runtime of around 20 minutes. So I guess, you can also take it as a full length movie because a total of 140 minutes (after eliminating out all those credits) is actually the real length of Disney-Pixar movies.

Win Or Lose Plotline: What To Expect?

After talking about the updates release schedule, total number of episodes, and their respective runtime — why not talk about the plotline? I mean, that’s something which really matters to decide if we are going to give it a try or not, right?

According to Pixar, Win or Lose follows a brand new school softball team, with the name of Pickles. They are taking part in a championship game, and each episode will offers you a look inside the personal lives of each player, including the coach, parents, friends and more.

While the possibilities are endless, you cam still expect a sort of connection from their main championship game and how they manages to forget about their past traumas — while performing with full intensity in each game. From the trailer itself, I can tell that we indeed are going to watch some magical creatures as well, coupled up with their respective personal problems.

When Could We Get A New Trailer?

This is the only thing that I can tell under the tag of “speculation,” or “prediction!” Disney and Pixar has already dropped a short teaser of this show where you can take a good guess and look of every single character — but now that the entire show is getting delayed, they should come up with another teaser with updated dates.

Just in case if you don’t know then Pixar has released a brand new teaser where you can catch both Dream Productions & Win or Lose all-together. Yes, it is revealing the new dates and episode updates. Still, for another Trailer — I’d go with somewhere by mid-January. I’ll update this section once they drops it officially, but you can have a look on their latest promo below:
