The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Season 2: Latest Updates!
Well, the updates are coming straight from the mouth of show’s co-creators and executive producers: Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and franchise boss Scott M. Gimple. In an interview with TVLine, the trio has teased us by saying, “Let’s just be quiet on this one.” While Lincoln joked, “Well, I die in the last episode.”
The best part comes when Gimple finally hints the audience by confirming that the possibilities are endless – even if Rick dies. When asked further about the possibilities and events of ‘The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live season 2’, Gimple said:
“I would say anything is possible, even if Rick dies in the last episode. Anything is possible. We’re focused on this one right now, but this one came together in a really amazing way where there were all sorts of plans, and the world changed, so we altered those plans and wound up with something we really liked.”
It is worth noting that other newer spinoffs like The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has already ended up getting more seasons – and since the response which The Ones Who Live has garnered is truly phenomenal, it would be no surprise if they ends up with The Ones Who Live season 2. In fact, Gurira has teased fans about a giant crossover event where almost every other character can come together, just like Endgame! But for now, I would suggest you to take it with a grain of salt.
What Will Happen In The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Season 2?
Now that I’ve covered almost every update that I knew about The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Season 2, I think it’s the perfect time to predict about future events. So what to expect from Rick and Michonne in future? Based on the ending of “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,” season 2 could go a few ways:
Rebuilding with a Secret: Rick and Michonne are back with their family, but the secret about the walkers’ potential victory looms large. Will they share this burden with their loved ones, or try to shield them from the harsh reality? This could cause tension and internal conflict within the group.
The CRM Fallout: The CRM’s ruthless plan is out in the open. Will Rick and Michonne try to warn other communities, or lay low and focus on protecting their own? They might face retaliation from the CRM, or inspire resistance movements from other groups who don’t appreciate being marked for extinction.
Facing the Future Threat: The looming walker apocalypse adds a new layer of urgency. Will Rick and Michonne team up with their old allies (Daryl perhaps?) to find a solution, or will they be forced to make tough choices to ensure their own family’s survival?
A New Threat Emerges?: With the CRM’s plan exposed, could a new threat emerge? Maybe another group with their own solution to the walker problem, or perhaps something entirely different – a new type of walker, a resource shortage, or even internal struggles within the CRM itself.
Remember, these are just my very own predictions! The writers could take the story in a completely different direction. One thing’s for sure, season 2 is likely to be filled with more emotional reunions, difficult choices, and the ever-present struggle for survival in a world overrun by walkers.
