Star Wars: The Acolytes!
What’s better then starting our summer holidays with an absolute masterpiece? Disney+ is coming up with a very special project, ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte.’ The show will drop it’s first two episodes all together on the night of premiere, and the rest will be released on a weekly basis as usual. Wondering about it’s plotline? No worries, I got you!
The official synopsis of the show is as follows:
In “Star Wars: The Acolyte,” an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….
The show is coming up with a great cast which includes our superstar actresses Carrie-Anne Moss (known for The Matrix) who will be playing Indora, a Jedi. Anandla Stenberg is joining the cast as the main character, Mae, who will be the former padawan that the show will focus on. We are also getting two main male leads with Lee Jung-jae (known for Squid Game) as Jedi Master Sol and Manny Jacinto (very well known for The Good Place) as Qimir a former Smuggler.
Apart from our main protagonists, Rebecca Henderson is joining the cast to play the fan-favorite character Vernestra Rwoh. Joining her is Charlie Barnett as the Jedi Yord Fandar, and Joonas Suotamo as the Wookie Jedi master Kelnacca. Margarita Levieva and Dean-Charles Chapman have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Buckle Up! We are getting two back to back massive and guaranteed success on same day. One is going to dominate over Amazon Prime while other is landing straight on HBO max platform. No wonder if it starts a new rivalry between two most successful IP’s of all time.
The Boys Season 4!
Oh my goodness! The peak is real with ‘The Boys season 4!’ Set in a very brutal world where trust is always at stake, Homelander and gang are returning to dominate over our screens and so our hearts with the fourth installment of this saga. The show is finally going to feature elections and I personally can see multiple deaths [Oups, Spoilers!] in this particular drop.
The Boys season 4 will premiere straight on Amazon Prime Video and Is set to deliver a total of 8 episodes that will be releasing every Thursday at 8 p.m E.T. Additionally, Amazon Prime has now shared an official synopsis which says:
“the world on the brink”. It reads: “Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.“
House of the Dragon Season 2!
Next on the list is a show which will definitely heat up your screens and so the summers. Yes, ‘House of the Dragon’ is returning with it’s second season and is all set to premiere straight on HBO max somewhere in June. The company has officially confirmed that House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere on June 16, 2024 (it’s June, AGAIN!)
Recently, we’ve also gotten the first look short teaser that was showing the two major sides from this universe and their rivalry. On one side, I am pretty excited to stream it, but at the same time — I do have some nervousness for the events and unfortunate deaths that might wipe out some of our very beloved characters. Either way, this show is going to be a masterpiece without a doubt.
Additionally, the shown will consist a total of 8 episodes, two less then previous season — but we are all in for it right?
The Bear Season 3!
June will become more classy and funny with the release of third season of ‘The Bear’. This show is highly known for it’s solid plotline coupled up with many humourous and light hearted moments. If you are someone who wants to engage with his/her families and friends while watching something entertaining, then ‘The Bear‘ season 3 is for you.
Set to premiere on Hulu, the show has yet to receive it’s exact release date and time — however, the company has confirmed that it will be releasing this season starting from June itself. Wondering about the plotline? Well, the company has not given any specific plot summary, but as per some latest interviews and my own predictions — Sydney (played by Ayo Edibiri) has been schooled in the tao of Coach K, Cousin Ritchie has learned to appreciate the finer things in life while Marcus is now studying desserts in Copenhagen.
Long story short, I am pretty sure that June is going to be the biggest month for us, the streamers. The month will deliver us the brutal killings with ‘The Boys season 3,’ and the politics of ‘House of the Dragon’ season 2. For which project are you most excited? Stick around the corner with TVPrism as we brings you some of the most authentic, original, engaging and detailed content related to everything TV. Till then — stay safe, peace out!
