While in my previous drop of ‘Deep Dives‘, I was revealing ‘3 Incredibly high-in-demand shows of April‘ – but this article is all about Netflix shows to watch in April. Of course we are already running out of time because many huge developments are taking place in the world of cinematography, one phase which is presenting back to back masterpieces is the world of TV.

The year kickstarted with our Jack Reacher (which is now getting a third season), then we watched multiple new installments from all Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max and others. No wonder why 2024 is proving to be a moving and a busy year for streamers like you and I.

Considering how much Netflix is currently investing in it’s quality, it is obvious that more epic shows and movies are about to land on this streaming giant. While I do knows that many other outlets are busy in publishing similar articles, you may get lost in confusions because they are presenting a long list with tons of shows and originals. That’s why I am here. Well, I’ve done a plenty of research and has selected the ‘3 Best Netflix Shows to Watch in April‘. No long lists and no other talks – let’s dive into a very precise and exciting world of Netflix!

Parasyte: The Grey Season 1

“People must rise to combat unidentified parasites after they violently take over human hosts and gain power.”

With the total of 6 episodes, ‘Parasyte: The Grey‘ season 1 will release on April 5. Can you recall ‘Train to Busan‘? I mean, everyone can right? Well, Yeon Sang-Ho was behind that epic movie and now this talented filmmaker is returning for Parasyte. This show is a direct adaptation from the original book of same name (written by Hitoshi Iwaaaki). It’s popularity can be measured in terms of number of copies that were sold in over 30 regions and countries (25 million copies).

While the concept might sound familiar in terms of theme, Parasyte: The Grey still serves many differences to it’s audience. A group of weird-looking bacterial type of virus has fallen down on Earth, and now it is using human bodies as host. The show will definitely deliver us many ups and downs and no wonder if we gets a bunch of unexpected events.

I would say that Parasyte: The Grey is more like a horror show which will mark Sang-ho‘s second Netflix project after 2021’s Hellbound, and also his second series as a director. So mark your calendars and don’t forget to renew your subscriptions.

Dead Boy Detectives!

Dead Boy Detectives: Netflix Shows to watch in April
Netflix

“Two teenage ghosts work alongside a clairvoyant to solve mysteries for their supernatural clientele, until a powerful witch complicates their plans.”

Dead Boy Detectives is one of the most anticipated and highly beloved Netflix shows to watch in April. It was back in 2023 when we first heard about this unique TV show and ever since we are looking around to take it’s glimpse. Based on some of the most ‘in-demand‘ DC Comics characters (created by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner), Dead Boy Detective is a direct spin-off of ‘The Sandman‘.

The show will consist of a total of 8 episodes which revolves around the ghosts of two dead boys (and so the title of this series). Named as Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) and Edwin Payne (George Rex), the duo of ghosts decides to stay on Earth rather then going back to the place they deserves afterlife. What was the motive though? Well, this duo stays here in order to investigate the crimes that involves some sort of super natural powers.

We’ve already seen the huge popularity of The Sandman, so no wonder if Dead Boy Detectives hits our trending bars in the matter of couple of days. For me, this show is definitely a must-watch story as I am pretty sure that they will be delivering us some of the most humorous and entertaining moments. So grab some popcorns as Dead Boy Detectives will be releasing straight on Netflix on April 25, 2024.

The Circle Season 6!

The Circle Season 6
Netflix

I think I’ve talked enough about the fictional world right? So why not include a reality show in our list of ‘Top 3 Netflix shows to watch in April‘? Here comes our sixth season of ‘The Circle‘. To me, this show is just truly phenomenal and unique in all perspectives of reality TV series. Contestants fight (I mean compete) against each other while chasing their dreams to be a successful social media influencer (and of course the prize of $100,000). The official synopsis reads:

“Contestants will once again compete to become the top influencer. And this time around, the players will be making a home in a brand-new apartment building. While previous seasons were filmed in a small town in Northern England, Seasons 6 is moving stateside to Atlanta, Georgia. Aside from a few twists the game you love remains the same, as the online players flirt, bond, catfish, and hashtag their way to the top of the pack to win the ultimate cash prize.”

Available to stream from April 17 on Wednesdays, The Circle season 6 is being hosted by Michelle Buteau and will consist of 13 episodes. This Netflix series is inspired by the British reality series of the same name and produced by Studio Lambert. The best part is that, you will get it’s first four episodes all together on April 17 – so yeah! A mega premiere right?

Well, these three above mentioned projects are easily the best ones out there and I am pretty sure that you will definitely enjoy them. I tried my best to pick the ‘3 best Netflix Shows to watch in April‘ for you, now it’s upto you to either ignore them (and regret later) or follow them (and Thanks me later).
