Terrifier 3 Box Office Numbers Butchers Joker 2, While Ratings Shines Brighter

Terrifier 3 is finally out in theatres and while people were worried about it’s overall performance due to Joker 2, it feels like the magic of Lady Gaga was not enough to save her project against our warrior queen Lauren LaVera. Well, that’s what the updated box office numbers are proving, and of course — no one can change the facts, right?

With a very limited marketing, Terrifier 3 has shocked everyone by grossing over $2.6M+ in Thursday previews itself. Yes, you read that right! The film has already covered half of its expense from previews, and the numbers are already tracking to go higher and higher.

Produced by Cineverse, Terrifer 3 can be called as a microbudget project with an estimated count of around $5M, and that’s after including extra marketing charges and all those theatrical contracts. If you’ll ask me, then I’d say: Just go and watch this movie twice or thrice already. Yeah, that’s the power of creative and engaging writing, and not just a cash-grabby type of sequel (You know what I am talking about, don’t you?)

Meanwhile, Joker 2 keeps sinking as this $200M worth project is now barely able to catch anyone’s attention. In fact, Terrifier 3 is now eyeing to butcher the Arthur’s legacy by throwing it away from the charts of box office already. According to the reports of Variety, the third installment of Art the clown will kill Joker by acquiring the top spot in its second weekend with an $11M+ take. 

Terrifier 3 Shows Reality To Hollywood Giants

While all of us were chatting about the downfall of Hollywood, 2024 is proving to be a game changer. After so many failures, Pixar got it’s Inside Out 2 which is now the biggest and the most successful animation movie of history. Meanwhile, Marvel has made an epic comeback with it’s Deadpool & Wolverine, which also grossed over a billion dollars worldwide.

After all these positive updates, one thing which is not changing is the continuous downfall of DC comics-related movies. Well, another year and another failures, dates changes but not the performance and quality of this company. While I personally follows DC a lot (Yeah, I love their characters more than Marvel), the big budget movies from this company is not leaving a single chance for spoiling the legacy of it’s universe.

While on the very other hands, we are getting Terrifer 3. Originally starting this journey with a low budget of just $35k, it’s so beautiful to watch how Art the clown is showing his “love” for Sienna by enhancing the creativity and proving the power of real and solid storyline.
