Well, Shrinking season 3 is coming! The second installment is already planning to garner a massive load of views, and Apple TV is now planning to bring us even more from this therapy-comedy universe!

Yes my streamers, you are absolutely right. Shrinking universe is expanding as Apple TV has officially announced a third installment. The exclusive update is coming straight from the words of series’ officials Segel, alongside with Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein — the guest of our sequel season.

During NYCC (New York Comic Con), the whole cast took stage on fire while discussing about their journey of Shrinking season 2 till now. It involves names like Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Now I know you might be wondering to learn more, so keep reading the article!

Shrinking Season 3 Is Landing, And Maybe More!

The madness begun when Matt Cherniss, the head of programming for Apple TV+, said in his official statement at NYCC: “It has been wonderful to watch audiences around the world fall in the love with the memorable characters and rich world that Bill, Brett and Jason have created.”

While he was thanking us, the audience — Matt decided to surprise us with his next couple of lines by adding, “We are incredibly excited for viewers to see where life takes Jimmy, Paul, Liz, Gabby, Alice, Sean, Brian and Derek, next as they continue on their moving, heartwarming and very funny journey in season three.”

If you are thinking about all those possibilities for the future already, them I’d suggest you to hold your Hype because Shrinking season 3 is not the only drop where we will be watching Jimmy. Yeah! Apple TV has some real plans of expansion, and creators are serious.

While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence and his co-creators have said that perhaps they wouldn’t stop at three. He said, “If they want to keep doing Shrinking, I would totally keep doing it. I just think that the story of Jason Segel’s character, Jimmy’s wife dying and dealing with that and getting through that, if you’re after six years, still going, ‘I’m still sad about that thing that happened five years ago,’ I’m like, ‘All right, you gotta tell a new story.’”

Now that season 2 is currently running, and the response is already positive — I think it was the perfect time to bring this renewal update and give fans the hype they were craving. Although, we are still in the very early stages of this season’s story — so let’s see, what they delivers in Shrinking season 3, since cliffhangers indeed matters a lot for future drops.
