PartyNextDoor Announces “Sorry I’m Outside” Tour to Celebrate “Hardest Album Yet”

PartyNextDoor fans, rejoice! The wait is over. After dropping his critically-acclaimed album PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4) just a few days ago, the Canadian-Jamaican R&B star is hitting the road with the “Sorry I’m Outside” Tour.

The announcement comes with a bang: a slick 48-second trailer directed by Aidan Wilde. In it, PartyNextDoor (real name Jahron Anthony Brathwaite) takes viewers on a whirlwind journey – from the studio where the album magic happened to the electrifying energy of a live performance.

The trailer itself is a treat for fans. We see glimpses of Hollywood (with a cheeky twist on the iconic Hollywood sign), his hometown Toronto, and a concert scene that hints at an explosive live rendition of his hit “Lose My Mind.”

This tour holds a special significance. It’s been four years since PartyNextDoor’s last tour, and P4 is clearly a passion project for him. In a recent Billboard cover story, he called it “the hardest I’ve ever worked on an album. This is the proudest I’ve felt.”

And that dedication seems to be paying off. P4 is a strong contender, following up on the success of his 2020 album Partymobile. The 14-track album features no guest appearances, putting the spotlight squarely on PartyNextDoor’s signature sound. It also boasts previously released singles like “Her Old Friends” and the critically-acclaimed “Resentment,” which reached the top 10 of Hot R&B Songs.

But PND hasn’t just been making music in the studio. He’s been out there promoting P4 with high-energy sets at SXSW, Rolling Loud California, and even Souled Out in Australia. During his SXSW performance, he even surprised fans with the official album title reveal.

With the “Sorry I’m Outside” Tour, PartyNextDoor seems poised to take things to a whole new level. The combination of a meticulously crafted album and a visually stunning live show, as hinted at in the trailer, promises an unforgettable experience for fans.
