While Jisoo, just like her other BLACKPINK members, is busy in building herself via multiple different promotional campaigns, products launching, brand deals and single albums — I just can not stop thinking about her upcoming K-Drama. Now, the latest rumors and leaks are going viral according to which, Newtopia release date is set somewhere in January 2025. The exact dates are yet to be revealed.
These leaks are coming from multiple different sources, including the popular social networking platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), where latest shows and movies keeps leaking every now and then. Why I am believing on these leaks is kinda understandable because the page with the handle of @jisoogallery has shared it. It has over 172k followers, and is known for sharing everything related to Jisso.
Not only this, the alleged leaks are even claiming a surprising streaming platform where you’ll be getting this upcoming K-Drama. However, I think it should not be surprising enough for my readers who belongs to Asian countries (where this platform is very common!)
Newtopia Release Date Comes With It’s Streaming Platform
Getting produced by Coupang Play, Newtopia release date leaks are confirming that this special installment will be landing straight on Disney+. Yes, it marks another addition in their long list of K-Dramas that they keeps streaming every now and then.
While most of us were assuming the name of Netflix, I think this decision can actually be justified pretty easily. Before that, let me tell you that Jisoo has no contract with either Disney or any of their respective services — it’s the production team who collectively decides and opts the platform for streaming their projects.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that both Netflix and Coupang Play are actually the competitors in Korea. So maybe, that’s why they don’t want to sell Newtopia for affecting their own performance, right?
Either ways, if these leaks are true, then I’m guessing that Disney+ or Coupang will definitely come up with official words in next couple of days — so it is just a matter of time when we will learn the entire scenario. Till then, you can take it as a rumor, which is kinda solid this time.
