A Man In Full

Set to hit your Netflix charts on May 2, “A Man In Full” is among the most awaited and new Netflix series of 2024. Wondering about the plot? Well, the story revolves around our main protagonist named Charlie. Now Charlie faces a crumbling empire. His ex-wife, Martha, contemplates aiding the prosecution, tightening the noose around his neck. Some, like Harry Zale, see his demise as preordained. Yet, unwavering supporters fight fiercely to salvage his reputation.

Blood In Zeus

Next on the list of new Netflix Series of 2024 brings “Blood in Zeus.” The show will premiere on May 9, 2024 and is all set to blow your mind. While it indeed is going to be an animated one, the hype is just way too high. Talking about the plotline then you can expect a classic empire themed run. The synopsis reads:

In ancient Greece, an unassuming man named Heron learns of a shocking truth: he is the offspring of the mighty Zeus. With this revelation comes a destiny he never imagined – to stand as humanity’s champion against a fearsome demonic force threatening to engulf the world.

One of the highly anticipated new Netflix series of 2024 is Bridgerton season 3. The previous two seasons has delivered us two love stories and now is the time for another one. Set in the world of classic London, the Bridgerton saga revolves around a rich family who looks around for their soulmates. It indeed is a direct adaptation from the original novel but unlike other projects — Bridgerton has managed to garner a huge popularity worldwide only because of it’s twisted and engaging storyline.

The official synopsis for the third season reads, “[Bridgerton’s third season] finds Penelope Featherington has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton after hearing his disparaging words about her… She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters. But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly.” Remember, the third season has been divided into two parts — with part 1 set to hit Netflix on May 16 and part 2 on June 13.

Sweet Tooth Season 3

The next TV series which is coming straight on Netflix is none other then our “Sweet Tooth season 3.” The show will premiere on June 6 and we’ve already seen the first trailer (which is looking way too impressive to me.) The first two seasons has collectively garnered the record breaking numbers and streaming watch hours, so no wonder if they are bringing us a third season. According to the official synopsis:

“In the race to stop the deadly Sick, Birdie delves into its enigmatic origins. Meanwhile, Dr. Singh, joining the trek to Alaska, harbors unsettling ideas about Gus’s role in curing the virus. A new danger arises with the arrival of Helen Zhang, her daughter Rosie, and their brutal Wolf Boys. They see Gus as the key to reviving human birth and will stop at nothing to achieve it. As time dwindles, loyalties are strained, and fates collide, leading to a heart-pounding showdown that decides the future of both humans and hybrids. Will anyone survive?”

Heartstopper season 2

Heartstopper’s first season followed the love story of Nick and Charlie, adapting the events from the first two graphic novels by Alice Oseman. Season two explored their growing relationship with challenges, drawing inspiration from the third volume. The graphic novel series itself has continued to flourish, with volumes three and four releasing in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Fans can look forward to even more in December 2023 with the fifth installment, and a conclusive sixth volume is confirmed to be in the works.

This installment is making my list of ‘New Netflix Series of 2024‘ a bit unique as it is serving itself for The members of LGBTQ+ community. The exact release date is yet to be announced but Netflix has officially given it a release window of October 2024. I will update this section as per the future updates, so no need to worry about.

Arcane Season 2

First announced in 2023, Arcane season 2 will hit your Netflix platforms in November of this year. While the official plotline is yet to be announced, In a world divided by progress, two sisters find themselves at odds. Arcane, set within the League of Legends universe, follows Vi and Jinx (formerly Powder) as tensions rise between the opulent city of Piltover and the oppressed undercity it fuels. As the undercity fights for independence, the sisters’ bond strains under the weight of contrasting ideologies.

Apart from these projects, chances are high that we may get some surprise drops, but I will be keeping my eagle eye on them. Long story short, these were the top best and new Netflix series to watch in 2024 — which one are you looking forward to?
