Yes, the title of this article is legit. Our talented and beloved Julianne Hough was sexually assaulted back when she was not even in her full sense, or say, was just way too small to learn about all those self-defense and stuffs.
The popular American dancer and actress has expressed her emotions for the first time in an interview and while this was already too scary and unfortunate to listen – Julianne herself was not able to hold back her tears. Nobody can resist such acts. especially when it comes on our family members – but Julianne’s childhood and her mom’s actions were quiet surprising, yet understandable.
Dirty Truth Of The Neighbor Of Julianne Hough
When talking to the Thursday’s episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, our beloved actress revealed how she was sexually assaulted at the early stages of her life. The predator was none other than her own neighbor. Just in case if you don’t know then let me tell you that Julianne Hough used to live in Utah cul-de-sac during her early days.
“That was a very, very confusing time because, obviously, growing up in the Mormon culture, everything needs to be perfect, everybody needs to put on the shiny, we’ve got our stuff together. And there was not a lot of repercussion for what had happened,”she mentioned.
When her mom learnt about this incident, she decided to leave the place rather than confronting the abuser. The actress described the disastrous feeling by using the word “Sprite bottle between her legs,” which is enough to scare the last drop of soul of a little girl who just wanted to enjoy her days.
“This was my only way of describing it because we weren’t allowed carbonation as kids, we weren’t allowed pop or anything like that, but I remember tasting it and it burned and it hurt my lungs — and I remember saying I felt like I had a Sprite bottle between my legs,” she described.
Shockingly, Julianne Hough was not the only one who was getting harassed in her childhood. The dancer revealed that it was her sister and brother too, who were feeling helpless when all these things were happening – yet, they decided to “just” leave the place. I mean, they could have taken the actions, but maybe, not everyone loves drama because of an abuser.
Luckily, Hough confirmed that her parents are now no longer in touch with the abuser or any similar person and she herself has moved on from all those dark memories. As a girl myself, I’d suggest everyone to just learn atleast two or three self-defense techniques. This world is not what we imagines it to be, so it’d be much better to take some things in our own hands.
