Descendants 5 To Show Red’s Love Interest? Kylie Cantrall Hints At Potential Plots [Exclusive!]

More importantly, are we really going to get more Descendants movie? If so then when? Well, the cast has shared a tons of new updates regarding the future – and it is wild!

What To Expect In Descendants 5?

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Kylie Cantrall (actress who is playing Red) has revealed multiple hints for her character. First and foremost, when asked about the ending, Cantrall revealed that there’s a “butterfly effect” whenever you travels through time. She has given force on the thoery that both Red and Chloe indeed have “altered something when they went back!”

Meanwhile Dara Reneé added that “Red did more damage than good!” She said, “You’re going to mess up the future. No matter what your good intentions are, something is going to be out of place.” It was clear by the end that something has gone wrong, and these comments are enough to mark the tag of confirmation on all those speculations.

Adding to their theories, Malia Baker (Chloe) added that she’d love to explore the romance of her character in the future. In fact, she was not the only one who has mentioned the love-bird thing. It is Kylie Cantrall who takes a step forward and adds, “It’d be fun to see Red having a love interest in Descendants 5!“

Adding to her comment, Cantrall also mentioned her interest of showing the new “dynamics” of her character with mom. “That’s drastically going to change their relationship, so I’m interested to see how that’s going to work. Also Red and Chloe and them now being really tight, I think that that’s going to be cool to watch,” she said.

The fun part comes when Reneé mentions her wish to explore more of her villain and the origin. The actress said, “I would love it if the VKs could come into Wonderland and do some ruckus, sneak into that little time machine and figure out how to mess things up. Maybe Uliana is in charge [now].”

Descendants 5 Release Date: Confirmed or Cancelled?

While the cast is expressing their wild imaginations, Disney is yet to announce Descendants 5. Despite showing their interest, none of the cast member was revealing any solid update on the potential fifth movie. Although they indeed mentioned that they’d love to return for more fun adventures.

When asked about more, Baker added, “Here’s hoping! I would love to see more of Chloe’s home life and how it’s changed since she got back.” So it seems like the cast itself does not know any sort of news regarding the future installments.

Keeping the track record of previous drops and if Disney confirms another part, then you can expect Descendants 5 to release by later 2026 (At the earliest).
