‘Blade Runner 2099’ TV Series Casts Nine Surprising Names For More Twists

The ‘Blade Runner 2099’ TV Series is adding not one, not two, not three – but nine new faces to it’s cast in order to bring more fun to your tables. Believe me, now it is looking just too good to be true!

Amazon Prime Video is actively developing a TV series with the title of ‘Blade Runner 2099,’ which is going to be a special and “one-of-it’s-kind” type of project. Before the addition of these nine new faces, it was announced that Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer will be leading it.

Now it has been confirmed that this sci-fi drama is going to bring the talents of Dimitri Abold (known for “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”) and Lewis Gribben (known for “Somewhere Boy”) who will be working as series regulars.

This is not over yet. The real fun begins when they adds Katelyn Rose Downey (very well known for “The Nun II”), Johnny Harris (“A Gentleman In Moscow”), Amy Lennox (“Only Child”), Daniel Rigby (“Renegade Nell”), Sheila Atim (“The Woman King”), and Matthew Needham (“House of the Dragon”) , who have been cast in recurring guest star roles.

Though these new additions are indeed building a new hype among fans, the details on the exact theme are still kept under wraps. Neither the plot, nor the character details are currently available in public domain – however, it has been reported that the show is going to take place after the events of the original ‘Blade Runner2049.’

Talking about production then ‘Blade Runner 2099’ is currently at works in Prague. The company is also planning to shoot it in Barcelona though the exact location is still unknown. ‘Film United’ is officially handling the ongoing production in Prague.

Silka Luisa is all set to bring her the experience on the table as the showrunner and executive producer. Meanwhile Ridley Scott will be the one who will executive produce along with David W. Zucker and Clayton Krueger of ‘Scott Free Productions.’

Things will get more clear in upcoming weeks as it is just too early to predict or talk about the episodes or actual idea and concepts of ‘Blade Runner 2099.’ I will be updating this article as soon as I gets more updates, so you have to keep an eye on us.
