Now talking about the main plotline than Bad Monkey is based on the popular novel of Carl Hiaasen. Vaughn is playing the role of a former police officer who has a golden chance to grab his job back. A murder mystery is being assigned to him and now he is finding the roots in Southern parts of Florida.

According to official synopsis, “A detective turned restaurant inspector in Southern Florida is pulled into a world of greed and corruption after a tourist finds a severed arm while fishing. And yes, there’s a monkey.”
